Sooooooooo..... I got laid off today. It sucks, but I'm alright with it. I'll miss my coworkers, but I'm already looking ahead to the next adventure. I'll try to get the last of the Italy trip completed for the blog by the end of the week, in between looking for work and watching The History Channel. 5 years. 5 years, man. Oh well - shit happens. I'm still an employee of my company for the next 60 days, and I'll still get paid even though I don't have to do any actual work. It's a sweet severance deal, so it's hard to be upset about the whole thing. But if you know of any technical writing jobs, holla atta brotha, ok? I'll go anywhere except California, because earthquakes and $1 million homes really don't appeal to me. I'll keep you posted. Peace.
